Sometimes the right piece of art cannot be found ready-made – in that case, it can be created just for you.

I create unique commissioned works for homes, as gifts, and for corporate spaces. The starting point for the piece can be, for example, a specific subject, mood, color palette, or the location where the work will be displayed. You may have a precise idea in mind, but it is not necessary. We can plan the piece together from the very beginning.

Every commission is a hand-painted original work, created with Paperihattu's recognizable, nature-inspired, and vibrant style.

A commissioned work combines your wishes with my artistic vision.

For example, you can tell me which of my works you like, what colors are in your space, or what kind of atmosphere you are looking for. The subject could be nature, plants, animals, a landscape, or something meaningful to you.

The goal is not to copy an existing image, but to create a new and unique piece of art based on your wishes.

If the piece is for a specific space, you can also send me a photo of the room. This way, we can consider the appropriate size, color scheme, and overall look for the work together.

How a custom order is made

1. Share your wishes

Get in touch and tell me about your idea. You can describe the subject, colors, mood, and desired size of the piece, as well as send photos of the space or other inspirational material.

2. Let's plan the piece

Together, we will go through the idea, size, color palette, schedule, and price. We will agree on the execution of the piece before I start painting.

3. I paint – you receive a unique piece

Once the plan is agreed upon, I will begin the actual painting process. The finished piece is an original, hand-painted work of art, created just for you.

Commission as a gift

A commissioned artwork can also be a personal gift for, for example, a wedding, an anniversary, a new home, or any other important life event.

Subjects, colors, or moods meaningful to the recipient can be incorporated into the piece without the result needing to be a traditional portrait or a direct copy of a photograph.

This creates a gift that cannot be bought ready-made.

What size is the piece?

The size of a commissioned work can be chosen based on where the piece is intended to be displayed. If you are unsure about the appropriate size, I am happy to help you choose.

You can send me a photo of the wall along with its dimensions, and I can suggest a piece size that fits the space.

How much does a commissioned artwork cost?

The price of a commissioned work is determined by the size of the piece, materials, and the complexity of the work. You will be informed of the price before the work begins.

For a quote, just a few details are sufficient: what kind of work you have in mind, what size it might be, and when you would like it to be finished.
