The artwork draws inspiration from historical Finnish figures and the artist’s reflections on their lives: what their days were like, what they thought, and how the world around them appeared. Loviisa is a fictional character—the artist’s imagined embodiment of a woman named after the town of Loviisa.
The warm glow of candles, heavy red curtains, and the figure’s calm presence create an atmosphere where time seems to stand still for a moment. Through this piece, the artist seeks to offer a counterpoint to the hectic pace and constant rush of modern life—an opportunity to linger, take a breath, and imagine a life where moments had more time to unfold.

Are some purchases final?
Yes – handmade artworks and made-to-order items are final sales as they are custom-made for you. Posters, cards, and other stock items can be returned within 14 days.
When will I receive my order?
Deliveries to Finland usually take 3–7 business days. Deliveries to EU countries take approximately 7–14 business days. Deliveries to non-EU countries (e.g., Norway, Switzerland) take 10–21 business days. Handmade artworks may require additional production time — the estimated delivery time can be found on the product page.
Where are your products manufactured?
All artworks and canvas paintings are handmade in Finland, in a Finnish artist family's studio. Posters and cards are printed at a domestic printing house. The paper hat is 100% Finnish.
How much does delivery cost?
Finland: €11.90–€44.90 (free for orders over €50). Nordic countries and Baltics: €16.90–€39.90 (free for orders over €60–€100). Rest of Europe: €35.90–€49.90 (free for orders over €120–€700). You will always see the exact shipping cost before confirming your purchase.
